At least under Barker the Clemson athletic department/IPTAY subsidized the academics, not the other way around. $Millions annually went to the school.

This is kinda stupid for many reason, but the obvious one is state published salaries. If you're a gamecock this is where that music from curb your enthusiasm starts playing...

SO! you can look it up on the state published reports Dabo and all the coordinators make about 250k from the school's state budget (the rest comes from iptay and other sources)

On the contrar!..Mr. Mooshchomp has a state salary of 1.1mil (the rest being paid by whoever they sucker into being a rooster booster)

You really have to try to be that stupid. No tuition from any school goes to paying coaches salaries. Can you imagine in today's society if it did, you'd have snowflake riots everywhere. Clemson is growing and when a place grows it means more amenities, more professors and bigger and more accommodating buildings which is part of a tuition hike. People like nice things but with nicer things come bigger cost. Pretty soon people will wise up and realize going to college and racking up 6 figure debt and only getting 40k a year jobs doesn't equal common sense.
