are so tacky! If anyone would actually think Clemson should have Chrome helmets should become "fantasy" football fans. Clemson, Penn State, Alabama, Ohio State don't need gimmicks like those Chrome Helmets. Next thing you know somebody will want us to get a "turnover chain". Clemson has tradition like "the Hill", the Buses, and "the Rock", and the Graveyard. I guess some people will want the "Tiger" to take a shower on the field before the game!! Tradition, tradition, tradition.......

Has anyone seriously even hinted at wanting chrome helmets for Clemson this year? I know people joke about it, but I don't recall anyone seriously wanting a chrome lid for our Tiger's in recent memory. It really has not been a hot topic of discussion among Tiger faithful.

Yeah, I'd love to see them in chrome orange helmets, but Dabo would never do such a radical thing

Well I love Clemson’s Tradition but they were new at one point!
New does not mean Bad and change can be good and some times new traditions start.

I think I speak for 99% of the Clemson faithful when I say the helmet should never change. Since the paw's inception on the helmet, it has become the Clemson Football identity on and off the field. We don't need to mess with perfection.
