If hate to even see them in the orange bowl, but beating them twice in one year would have its upside!

Well??
I kinda like it! No really!
If we can't make it to the 4 team playoff, what better way to end the season than beating the dirtpeckers twice in 5 weeks?!?!?!
Go Tigers!!!

No way that ever happens ...

Maybe if Clemson and SCAR opened the season against each other instead of meeting in late November, the match-up might be at least feasible.
No way they match these two teams again a month after they played.

national championship implications? Off the top of my head, that would really be the only explanation to justify a rematch in November and January.

I see this as an impossibility.

If we made it to the OB, there's a good chance we beat them. No one wants to see a rematch in a bowl game.
Except for a National Title game between LSU and Bama

When was last time Clemson whupped usUcK 2x in 1 year in football?
I would welcome it and would be fun to watch.
Then USC could say they went to a BCS Bowl... wait no they could not.

Spurrier would still claim they had gone to a BCS Bowl.

The fact that the BCS no longer exists likely wouldn't affect his boasting. In the Spurrier school of thought, it's important not to let things like pesky facts get in the way of self-promotion.

If... it were a return to the Orange bowl for this year. Like to see us play a Oklahoma, Michigan, or even a Florida < if they were a candidate. #21

a third SEC opponents in the same season. Provided we take care of business this weekend and we finally put an end to the five years of heartache in November, I can't think of any better way to bring more positive national exposure and to help with recruiting than to have the opportunity to play and beat a third upper tier SEC team in the same season.
I'm obviously getting way ahead of myself, but while I'm making predictions about what I would most like to see happen, I think that might provide the most benefit for the program.
Although it would be fun to play a top 10 team from a different part of the country to get the exposure across the country and see a Pac12 or Big12 (or whatever they call themselves now) matchup.

I'll win the Powerball before that happens and I don't even play. I'm guessing that neither Clemson and Sackerlina would win their Conference in this scenerio since they have Bama and FSU in the playoff. They have Allbarn in an At Large bid. So in this one Sackerlina and Clemson would have lost their Conf Championship game. One of the two Sackerlina or Clemson would have lost to the other giving them back to back losses, No way that team would make it to the Orange Bowl. Chances of this are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAyyyyyyyyy to slim.

First, this prediction shows that SI didn't do their homework. If they noticed that we'd just played, they would never project a bowl rematch.
Second, Clemson would not make it to the conference championship game if FSU is in the playoff.

This would never happen....im not even sure it would be a good thing money wise, I mean we would have just seen this game a few weeks prior, the great thing about bowl season is getting to play teams you don't normally get to. I would def not want to play them again regardless if we won or loss in Nov
