Trump’s legal strategy is to delay, but not simply to kick the can down the road.

Rather, it is to delay the certain convictions that will take place in the D.C. courts and the NY State courts at the district level.

The E.Jean Carroll case is not likely to be overturned completely, but Trump, on appeal, will not pay anything more than a couple of additional millions to go along with the first ridiculously high judgement of ~ $5 MM.

The NY ‘asset inflation’ trial will be appealed in its entirety, maybe even at the NY Appellate Court level. If not in NY State, then SCOTUS will overturn this case in its entirety, and order NY State to compensate Trump for legal fees and bond interest costs in the grounds of 14th amendment and 8th amendment.

The J6 / insurrection case will be overturned by SCOTUS because Trump was never indicted for insurrection. The law doesn’t allow for someone to be convicted on matters which are founded on a premise that a defendant had committed a crime of which he had not even been charged. The corrupt DC courts don’t care about the law; SCOTUS still does, however.

Why, then, does Trump seek to delay these trials? Because multiple unjust convictions by corrupt lower courts will not be understood by most regular Americans; they will be easily misled into believing that the multiple convictions are valid. Fortunately, all but the E.Jean Carroll and the Stormy Daniels cases are on the track to be either dismissed outright or delayed until after the election, at which time Trump will be exonerated in the NY State asset valuation judgement.

(*). As for the documents case, this one will also be especially easy for Trump to win outright. Thanks to DoJ’s written justification, their rationale was explained as to why Joe Biden will not be even indicted for a far more egregious ‘abuse’ of NARA / documents retention (more egregious than Trump because, as VP and Senator, Biden never had the Constitution Article 2 protections of the president to possess those documents, whereas Trump enjoyed Article 2 protections). DoJ’s very own justification with regard to Biden revealed that presidents had never been charged with NARA type violations; Reagan, G.H.W.Bush, Clinton, G.W.Bush, and Obama had all retained classified documents outside of NARA rules. Heck, to this day Obama won’t turn over the ~ 33 MM confidential documents that are still in his possessupiin to NARA.
(**). The DoJ wrote, regarding Biden’s non-indictment rationale, that Trump’s NARA’ violation’ stood alone because Trump took measures to impede the government’s ability to take possession of Trump’s documents. This is selective prosecution, and will not stand in the S.FL District Court.
(***). Furthermore, Trump has not even been indicted in a charge of obstruction of Justice. No indictment = no conviction.

Summary, the cases against Trump are all political theater. Delay of the trials, and therefore of B.S. convictions in the lower courts, is the only certain path to keep these corrupt indictments from interfering in the 2024 election.

Smart leftists know this, but, committed to their ‘hate Trump’ propaganda, will never admit such openly.

Oh yeah, Nikki won’t get the nod at the RNC even if Trump drops dead or has a stroke. At the RNC convention, the party bosses will pick the Republican POTUS candidate. Maybe it will be DeSantis; maybe Scott, maybe Noem. But not Nikki.

If Trump dies, gets sick, or ‘disabled’ via a ‘domestic terrorist’s act of violence,’ will 2024 be the first election since the advent of state party electors being chosen on the basis of popular vote in the state that BOTH political parties will put forth via appointment by party bosses.

Once you actually get the guy into a courtroom, long history tells us he's just about the worst client an attorney can actually represent. His record inside courtrooms is worse than South Carolina's record in football.

Now he's up on 91 felony counts - which is a whole lot of cans to be trying to keep kicking - and it also looks like His Orangeness is just about out of road. His criminal trials start in March and if he wins even a quarter of them I'd be surprised. And Donald will absolutely not win a presidential race from a jail cell.

But Nikki can likely get herself on the ballot even if the GOP won't play ball with her. No Labels can get her on the ballot in all 50 states as an independent, and she'll certainly poll well enough to get Joe Biden on a debate stage...at which point she will then club Joe like a baby seal.

If America's choosing between Joe and Nikki, virtually every poll has her winning by 10+ points. If she's running against two 80-year-olds, she probably has to pull just 35% or so to win and I think she can well do that too, especially with Cornell West likely pulling far-left votes away from Biden and RFK Junior likely pulling voters away from Donald.

I'd absolutely stay in the game if I was Nikki Haley too. In fact if I was a betting man I'd say she could well be in the catbird seat. There's a gaping middle lane to drive right down at the moment and nobody except Haley is poised to run in it.

Nikki would be prohibited by multiple states from being placed on the ballot as an Independent should she lose the GOP nomination as is expected.

It’s GOP or bust for Nikki.
