Need advice--Condo/RV rental for FSU Game

Aug 11, 2017, 10:14 AM

Fellow Tiger Fans I could use some help.

I have been asked to help put together a weekend experience for a couple of silicon valley execs who want to attend the FSU game. Would like to either rent a condo near Death Valley or a motorcoach (providing we could find a place to park it). These guys are well financed and are looking for a luxury experience.

Does anybody have any advice about how to go about finding this type of thing?

Thanks in advance and Go Tigers!

They're welcome to stay at my house, but it's over an hour

Are they into role playing?

Rv spots are sold out. You'd have to find some one

Who is selling their parking spot for that game.

Then rent a rv.

Not alot of condos near campus for rent. Mostly motels/hotels. Try typical places vbro..craiglist..Air bnb.

You're biggest hurdle is august 10th.

Other bookers have a 3 month head start on you.

Your biggest challenge....

may be finding a parking pass in the RV lot.

If you're wanting to rent a condo or house, try Lake Keowee or Lake Hartwell, but then you'll still need a parking pass and tickets for the game.

Good luck

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

My advice:

RV lot is very competitive and congested and it would be a hassle for them to have to get an RV and do everything from there.

Get them a hotel or house in Clemson and then buy a ticket package with a parking spot. Lot 5 parking is one of the best.

If you can afford it, buy them South Club or West Zone tickets. They can basically tailgate up there. Free food, alcohol in lockers (you have to stock them on Friday). That is the ultimate luxury on game day.

is brand new and should be great considering the premium price.

Centrally located to everything, so they won't spend time sitting in traffic pre or post game.

If well financed, then buy somebody out of their condo

Everything close is already booked. If looking to overpay substantially, then I'm sure you can find someone willing to give up their spot. Depending on budget, you could buy out somebody at a condo right next to campus.

Post on the TigerNet Tickets / Parking section if you want to go the RV route and need a spot. Note the amount you want to spend and you might find a buyer.

Everything has a price.

Thanks so much for all of the input.

Plaza One89 is scheduled to use the FSU weekend as its grand opening. I've reserved a 4 bedroom condo there for the weekend.

They still have 8 condos available. 2 bedrooms run 3500 per weekend and the 4 bedroom is 6k.

If it turns out as nice as it looks on their website then it's gonna be awesome. Now just pray they finish on time.
