Drama = ratings = advertising dollars. While I think it's ######## they just edit anything they want (like half of the opening ceremonies), that's the way the world works.

The obvious BIGGER concern here is that NBC (and ALL media) can show us what they want us to see and hear, and most of the time can get away with it. They do it in these Olympics, and what really scares me is that they do it with every other area of our lives. Think about that...

the Olympics so I can't blame them for wanting to maximize their advertising revenue - don't personally like it as I'd like to watch things at better times, etc. but I can understand.
