At UVA. He has won as many ACC Championships as Leggett in just 10 years at UVA (2 Reg Season, 2 Tournament) not to mention he's been named ACC Coach of the Year 5 times already.

UVA was nothing before he got there. They had only been to 3 regionals in their history. They have now been to 11 straight and are hosting a Super Regional for the 6th time in 8 years.


If you are going to make it a national coaching search, you might as well go after the best.

He's already making $600k and UVA has John Grisham money firmly behind their baseball program. He's a guy we could help get a raise but unlikely to pry away.

That's bull crap bc I planted some grass about 2 weeks ago, and it's just getting into the bottom of the first. Grass is ### hard to grow and expensive. ;)

UVA is an elite college baseball program currently. In a down year they just made it to Omaha. We don't have the money to pull him away. And it wouldn't even be a lateral move. It would be a step down from a powerhouse to a rebuilding job.

You haven't seen his name thrown around because he's basically untouchable at UVA.
