Why? Bc Auburn supposedly made an offer that hasn't been confirmed? Come on dude. He very well may go to Auburn, but he has offers from Texas am and usc as well. Usc is the only one who can offer head coach in waiting and a timeline

If Muschamp wants to win a national championship his best bet is Auburn. But at a higher risk if things go sour one or two seasons that he will be out of a job. If he wants job stability I'd say yes he could end up at your chickenz institute in cootlumbia. Logic is because he can have mediocre ,no championship seasons for years as long as they get to play in any bowl game, and try to beat Clemson each year. In all seriousness he would bring a lot to the chikenz defense and I would look forward to the challenge set before us when we played our best offense against a good defense. I don't like chickenz having excuses.

It would surprise me to see Muschamp go to a fast paced Offensive like Auburn. The fast paced offenses by their very nature hang high numbers on their own defense. A slow tempo offense that grinds clock is a the dream of a D.C.

You're right again! That's exactly why BV came to Clemson I guess?

He came to Clemson because he was on top of his game and was in high demand. Muschamp is damaged goods. He more than likely will go somewhere safe and not risk his career.

UF what makes you think he could get it done there?...he'd have 1 foot in the grave at USuCk and have to compete against BV for recruits. Unless he likes to golf I see USuCk as a last option.

Why would anyone offer Muschamp "head coach in waiting." He has proven to be a top notch defensive coordinator. He has also proven to be a very bad head coach. I would love for the dirt peckers to make him their head coach, but I doubt they are that stupid.

Why not? He was there before. Familiarity. Might be comfortable there.
