He played so well his freshman year, hurt his elbow, then seemed to get toasted in the secondary quite bit.
He has tons of skill, would hate to lose him.

He was playing out of position this year. Weslichek put him on an island way too much. He’s not a CB.

Kid bought and paid for his own bus ticket to visit here while in high school bc he always wanted to be a Tiger. Would be shocking. Also a huge loss and leave us very thin and inexperienced at safety.

Wasn’t that Dylan Sumner-Gardner (also from Texas), who bought a bus ticket to visit, committed to Clemson, then commited to TAMU to stay closer to home, only to sign with Boise State? I don’t think I remember Mukuba also coming by bus on his own dime, especially since he was recruited in 2020 at the height of Covid lockdowns.

I know they have until Jan 18 but as a rising Junior that would be the only way he would be leaving. If he enters and finds a home quickly then probably NIL and tampering is my guess.

If Mukuba leaves (hope not!), then maybe Jayln Phillips will see an elevation of his importance … as well as a better chance to show his ongoing development … if JP decides to take advantage of his COVID year to return for 2023 season.

He is probably trolling the person that tweeted that. He literally did the same thing last offseason. He took all the Clemson stuff out his bio. He didn’t transfer out then.

I don’t blame you for posting it. We can’t keep taking hits. But I personally believe Mukuba comes back. And he should move to safety. I’m and mickens should start safety. No more nickle for Mukuba. I feel like he got burnt playing nickle majority of the time.

He played hurt and is 20 lbs too small to play safety. His attempt to tackle the UT RB in the bowl was embarrassing. He can still be good. How does our strength, conditioning, and nutritional team combine to add zero pounds from last year to this year? Regardless, needs to put on some weight, get well, and come back better.
