Motivation by a loss

It would seem that if it takes a team, or a defensive or offensive unit a loss, or in our case several losses, to get players fired up and ready to play, then the coaching staff is not able to get players prepared and motivated to win. Losing has to be unacceptable and certainly not mentioned by any coach as something that we should ever need to do to get rid of fair weather fans. Clemson has lost its ability to find a way to win for a reason.

Just because losing is unacceptable does not mean it will not happen. Every team has 85 players on scholarship and all of them want to win. In over 100 years of football, we have had 3 undefeated years so are all the other years unacceptable?
