Why are we picked so high in the preseason rankings and

favored over Auburn, when every article says that we lost three starters on the offensive line and our defensive line is very young, inexperienced and has lost three starters as well. I mean the offensive and defensive lines are where the rubber meets the road.

And its not like people are picking us high and just don't know about this inexperience. They select us high and then proceed to explain how our lines are huge question marks. Just seems strange to me.

I hope we don't look back after a beatdown to Auburn and say, well, we really should have known. We are just so young on the lines.

Just curious as to how we're getting such hype in spite of this fact. Anybody know?

You don't think we are better than, and should be favored against Auburn? Maybe its because we have some of the best skill players in the country. We had problems on both lines last season and won 10 games. Maybe that's why. Still think we are better than auburn and we deserve our ranking based on potential. Preseason polls are stupid anyway.

country so they must not be too concerned about our O-line. Plus, a lot of schools lose players each year so we're not the only ones having to replace kids in those places.

Plus it could be a case of addition by subtraction. OL can't be much worse than it was.
