Morning Practice

I know that we will practice in the morning during 2 a days but any reason for not practicing in the morning the other days. Thunderstorms were forcast, so it seems they would had planned accordingly. I dont know, maybe they have other things scheduled in the morning. I believe there were no classes Wed or Thursday so they could have gotten in a morning practice.

You only get a set number of practices before the season. Many coaches will use the first few days to knock the rust off and then have 2 a days. It helps the team get in the groove and accomplish more during the practices closer to the opening game.

I understand that there are only a certain number of practices

Respectfully, I'm just stating that with the forcast for storms in the afternoon, why did we not plan ahead and practice in the morning instead before the storms? We would had been able to probably get in a full practice out on the fields rather than a limited practice indoors.

( I am out of town, perhaps there were storms this morning as well to negate that plan)

you asked someone closer to the situation perhaps thorne could shed some light.

perhaps the schedule has to be approved by compliance ahead of time? i know there is very little unaccounted for.

I read that Jimbo at FSU was tired of having the storms shorten his practices that he switched the following days practice to 5:45 AM.

I just figured we might would do the same thing.

Now, I did spell forcast (forecast) incorrectly each time so maybe that lessened my chances of receiving that educated answer :)
