Know you were high up on the women's hire other week, & he's got little better cupboard compared on the tennis results last year.

Assistant from a national power looks to be needle mover, but the P5 assistant hire hasn't helped get back on track. Really hoping this is a home run hire to get the program off its @** and get back to being competitive

He was one of the top candidates I mentioned before.

We did go the assistant route last time but that’s as from a mediocre Bama program while this is from Texas who has been a top 5 program for the last 6-7 years.

I think this is actually better than hiring a group of 5 head coach because Wagner will have deeper recruiting connections and knows how to get and work with top talent like he has at Texas. And Texas’s roster the last few years has been a mix of Americans and internationals from various places.

Know we haven't been a consistent T25 program & ACC contender for quite awhile. Really hope we can get our tennis programs (and athletics overall) to being factors nationally

I hope he can turn it around at Clemson. We all took it for granted back in the 80's when we always had a good team. I haven't taken it for granted in about the last 25 years or so.
