We had a father and son 2 rows behind us that were not polite. Our friend who sat in front of them put her air pods in?. They came out after DJ drove us down the field to score before the half. They were quiet going forward. I guess there are some in every fan base but I have had very few good experiences with their fans. Esp at their place. Trash a lot of them. Tigers progressing each week. Go Tigers

My wife has an artificial right hip and an artificial right knee. She cannot stand for long periods of time. But she wants to be in the Valley and scream her head off for her beloved Tigers. We have explained her situation to those standing in front of he before. Some will try to separate a little so she can see through but most just ignore us.
You might think of her when someone asks you to sit down. Ask if there is a reason they can’t stand up too.
I know they are called stands, but people pay for a “seat”. Please try to accommodate others. Not everyone is blessed with your stamina or good health. But they love Clemson no less.

Thoughtful and reasonable
My compromise might be to say this:
"I can give you my seat and I'll stand up behind you, but you see the guy in front of me is standing up, and so is the guy in front of him, so unless you can negotiate to the front row, it's not going to do much good."

Good for her to come to the games, but it’s unreasonable to expect accommodation at a major sporting event when you mingle with the public. It is what it is. Adjust or be miserable.

Agree. Mrs Noodle had some knee issues last year. I bought handicap seats for us every game and gave our usual tickets to friends. It’s unreasonable to expect an entire section to accommodate an individual.

Exactly, my girlfriend is short, 5 foot one and won’t wear high heels. Even when she stands she can’t always see over or around people standing in front of her most of the time. What am I supposed to do , put her on my shoulders? She just has to look the best she can,

Reminds me of the 2018 Sugar Bowl when we lost to Bama. Before the game even started, the 20-ish year old Clemson grads behind me were bitching about us standing. Ruined the #### game for us with them complaining. Then we got beat.

I can stand up the entire game if I have to but why should I have to. That’s why there are seats AND you can yell just as loud sitting down as you can standing up. I don’t get the standing up the entire game. I agree with 1972 Tiger. Everyone cannot stand up. How about a little empathy for those older long time fans who still enjoy coming to the games. One day you will be their age and may still want to attend the games. When we were at our 1st game this year in Atlanta there was a drunk Clemson jacka$$ standing up in front of the lady beside me and giving her a hard time because she asked him to sit down. She had knee replacement a few months earlier and couldn’t stand the whole time.

Since you’re replying to me, we were standing, BEFORE the game…you know, the team is running onto the field, Tiger Rag playing.
We wouldn’t stand except when appropriate but the YOUNG HEALTHY 20-something’s were total dooshbags. If I had felt like fighting it would have happened. Sometimes you just have to bite your tongue, especially when it’s 4 against 1.
If there’s people standing in front of me, IDGAF who’s behind me…I’m standing.

I reply to whoever is the last poster. My dumba$$ doesn’t know how to post any other way ??. Tag you’re it. My comment has nothing to do with standing up when the team is coming out at the beginning or standing during really big plays/downs etc. it’s standing the ENTIRE time or even 50% of the time. It’s not necessary. You can make as much noise sitting down. If everyone on the rows in front of me is standing I’ll stand but if their sitting I’ll sit so as not to block the other fans view behind me. Courtesy is all it is. I absolutely do stand up at certain times though. Every play isn’t stand up worthy.

We now sit in the Masters Club. We picked top row seats so we can stand if we want and not bother anyone. It seems most in our row chose it for the same reason.

I don't see why people even go to games of any kind if the person in front of you makes it so you can't see the game. On the other hand, there is no way to convince people to sit. I grew up going to Superbowls, NBA Championships, the World Series a few times. People sit unless something major is happening, so I have never been used to people blocking the view of others. You couldn't pay to go to a game and not be able to see the game. Maybe those fans that ask people to sit down should just avoid wasting their money and not go.

I'd have promised that I was going to stand as I pleased and provide a kind relief if she wanted to sit as she pleased.
That's a fair a gentlemanly like compromise. She would have been given a choice, move or shutup. I wouldn't have put it that way. People are manageable, they might not know it but they all are.

I run into the same thing. We have 4 of us that go to all the games together. The two seats behind me seem to have different people in them every game. Whoever owns them must sell them. Same with the 4 seats directly in front of us. I used to bring earplugs and offer them to the people sitting in front of us but haven’t done that since I don’t get them free at work anymore.
