Keep Leggett Far Away

Coach Bakich does not need to be bringing Jack back around this baseball program. There is a reason we let that ship sail back in 2015. If he wants to get personal advice from him GREAT. But Jack Leggett is not the hero of this program and he needs to stay away. If he gets Leggett involved Bakich will be looking for a new job soon.

Geez why would we want a HOF coach hanging around?

I mean a guy who’s coached for USA baseball and has had relationships with youth and HS coaches that brought us some of the best talent we’ve ever had. Banish him,put up a fence we don’t want that guy anywhere near the program. Get a grip dude no one is hiring Leggett to be the bench coach and make out the line up card; he was just there for the press conference to welcome one of his past assistants. However, if he wants to be an ambassador for the team and give our new coach the benefit of his knowledge, them hale yeah let it be.

Agreed some may have their differences of opinion but I believe Leggett loves Clemson.

Recruit last night told me leggett may be in non coaching role. Others have said the same. I’d welcome him back. It was time for him to go but the way clemson did it rubbed a lot wrong. If people are bashing bakich and Jack. Yeah get out. All in or not!

That’s probably not going happen. The new coach has fond memories of Jack and will want someone with his knowledge around to help

Leggett is a very important part of our baseball history at Clemson.
Bakich obviously respects him, and I trust him to involve him as much or little as he deems necessary.
Don't worry, Bakich is a confident person and he won't be leaning on Leggett to make important decisions.

Stupid post! Erik is a grown man and will make decisions about this and other things pertaining to the program and doesn’t need advice from any of us- Jack has a world of baseball knowledge and is a classy guy.

King of What? Bill Wilhelm stayed around the program: he was honored by the school and he made a positive contribution. While Jack had a different personality, why do you think he cannot also have the same kind of "honored status" impact/

If they honor leggett and bring him back I’m sure we will see these haters in the stands there at games or watching ????

It didn't take long for you to go from king to a court jester. The only time I was able to get to a CWS was 2010 because Leggett led Clemson Baseball to Omaha. It didn't work out but they were there. Now that Leggett is back, whether it's just to walk the halls or whatever, maybe the curse is over.
