Said he tweaked his knee last night practice trying to make cuts... Hope he gets that better.. he has 8 days!

mickey said he's received multiple reports that watson TWEAKED his knee and was in some pain.........walked off the field under his own power.......we'll see, but not good news by any means

DeShaun Watson really did tweak his knee last night in practice. It's being reported by multiple reports and Mickey pyler confirmed.

Of the first team reps wed. They are preparing him to be starter.
Dabo told packer on radio show thurs before practice that they would put him thru cutting drills to see where he is.
All we know is he tweaked something. Could be as little as just had a bit of pain and pulled up. Walked fine on his own. Could've torn ACL. Ha. Seriously doubtful but nobody knows and nor should they.
The plan was to play him next week and that's a fact. I'm thinking that's still status quo.

I agree, really though I doubt it's serious at all.. don't think they would have put him in position to injure it badly..
I'm willing to bet if anything its the bone bruise causing pain.. not ligaments. .

How do you know such things? Good news is we don't need him for Ga ST but goodness hope he plays next week. I am also really frustrated (its not truly anybody's fault, maybe Morris) that we aren't getting to watch him play. He was probably going to be ACC Rookie of the Year. Could have pushed for All ACC even over Winston (won a lot but hasn't looked stellar).
