Wow, talk about somebody who's not getting enough love. That guy is special. Just watched him run down that return goy from the opposite hash and almost cause a fumble or bring him down. That guy is a freak....

Grasp what a good play Kearse made in the moment, given how bad the touchdown hurt. And yes I def remember him running down the receiver last year. Props to the announcer for remembering it too, he mentioned it real time.

He also ran the receiver down on their final drive last year that allowed for the goal line stand.
He's going to be playing football a long time, glad we have him.

Yea, speaking of Reddit - in the preseason, they had a thread where they were asking who was likely to be the highest drafted player for your team after the year. There were several Clemson guys on there suggesting Shaq Lawson, Mike Williams and so on.. I picked Kearse - he's just such an athlete and the perfect mix of speed, size and knows the game. I fully expected him to have an insane year, and so far he's living up to it. And genuinely a good guy. We've met him a few times - fairly quiet and reserved on the field, but he packs a punch - and keeps the backfield on lockdown. It's a shame, he's got another year left of eligibility, but I can't see him sticking around.

He should have 2 interceptions already. The one against Louisville that was wiped out by that BS holding call should have stood. I'm guessing he will end up with about 5. Its gonna be hard for him to come back to Clemson next year when he's being projected as a 1st round draft pick. I hope he does though.

His run support is one of the best thinhs about his overall game . When you have a SS that can come up and take on TE/Lead blocks and stuff the run like Jayron , buddy you got yourself a pro career guy right there . Reminds me of that old Denver Broncos safety Steve Atwater . Beast !

Atwater is a great comparison. Well done!
Is there honestly a better strong safety than Kearse? I don't see it..not even close.

I've been thinking that when it's all said and done, Jayron might end up taking the title of "The Freak" from Jevon. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jayron run in the 4.3s at the combine.

Kicks maybe - I'd love to see it.
For punts, our blocking needs to seriously improve, otherwise every time it's a fair catch.

Don't worry about the media. NFL scouts are well aware of him. If he continues having a monster year he's as good as gone. That's why recruiting is so important. We can't give away scholarships.

like as a receiver. He seems to have pretty sure hands, plenty of speed (chased down a return man twice) and at 6'4"-5" he's got plenty of height. He's also 220 lbs...very good size to block as well.
