I mostly lurk now. It seems that I ran out of wisdom sooner than eight years though. I don't see many of the early members here anymore. Even Crump rarely posts. I can hardly believe it has been that long since I bought my first internet-capable computer and found TigerNet. The chat room could only handle 20 chatters then and we were asked to not refresh too quickly or we could crash that early server. TNet was my first and only home page.

... and post counts drop back to zero. Back then I posted a lot. Just like today when newbies feel the need to share their wisdom on every post. It's not unusual today to see someone who has been a member for a month have 600 posts. Do they not realize that we've probably heard it before?

I just took the diesel engine out of my white 84 w126 MB...

and put it/transmission/wiring/dash/all the glow system/ignition switch into my 85 black w126 body. I have the drive train and the wiring finished and am working on getting the cooling system in this weekend.
Will you please discuss the full restoration of the Alpaca Grey leather interior of a 1985 380 SE?
