Haynes reverses course and will sign Wednesday

He previously announced he wanted to wait until February, something about his school wasn't in session Wednesday and he wanted his coaches and teammates to be there. Changed his tune, apparently.

Maybe he heard Wilcox was going to get his LOI into us first thing Wednesday and he’s trying to beat him to the punch ?

Ga Tech? He was pretty excited we got Green. Or do we know he's a silent? If Wilcox commits or has already said he was committed then why would we take Haynes? We have the pwo.
So we'd take 4? Why?

Wow. Didn't realize you couldn't even ask a question anymore. One I thought was legit. We carried 5 rb this season. What the poster was suggesting was we were going to carry 8 this year + a pwo.

Maybe redshirt a couple but still seems like a slight logjam.

to be at Clemson, considering that he’s a zero star prospect according to 247Sports and his only other scholarship offers are from Georgia Tech, Washington State, and Western Kentucky.

I wonder what the coaches are seeing we don’t? I mean Renfrow didn’t have Alabama after him but that boy could ball

Sure he could ball eventually. But he didn't come here on a scholly. So you're really talking apples and oranges. It's not like the coaches went out and found this diamond in the rough. We missed on our first 3 top targets. Nothing wrong with someone asking a legit question.

Too many snowflake, Dabo syphocants on here to make an honest observation

It gets nausating at times.
Lately, RB recruiting has been an absolute dumper fire to anyone with an objective eye.

Well I don’t know this dude but I did see Hunter Renfrow play High-school ball. He played QB and was virtually unstoppable. I was not surprised at all when He became the man at Clemson!

Are you a Clemson fan or just a #### to Clemson fans. What is your background to think you know as much or more than the coaches?

"diamond in the ruff" recruiting evaluators in the country.
All we do is get fall backs with no other legit offers.
But trust the staff!

"All we do" huh. What were Shipley, Mafah, Pace? You ever think that some kids don't want to sit behind others so they go somewhere else..
Some of you are just stupid to think a school gets everyone they recruit.

It's a sad refrain, isn't it...having to trust coaches

To evaluate the Sensabaughs, TJ Greens, Nolan Turners, Renfrow's...those 'late in the game' and 'WTH are they thinking' players.
The misery index around T-Net these days is off the charts. What a sick, sad little world too many 'live' in.
Be the 'best accountant/sales clerk/purchasing agent/delivery man/manicurist/etc' you can be...or whine away. It's your misery...do with it what you will. Salt water on a garden isn't effective irrigation, though.

What’s funny is the same people complaining that Clemson doesn’t get all 5* are the same that will lose their minds when a player leaves after a year into the transfer portal because they aren’t getting playing time. Unless Clemson starts offering millions of $ a year, they aren’t going to get 5* to sit the bench to wait their turn. Other schools like Georgia and ones that get 3-4 top recruits at one position are keeping them there with their NIL money. Prime example is Georgia RB room…yes they have a history of NFL success but at the same time how else do you explain them having a RB room that is 5-6 deep mostly with top recruits.
Clemson has Mafah and Shipley…so that was a deterrent for 5* to come in last year and to sign one this year. Clemson needs to hit a HR at the RB position in the 2024 class or have one of these Diamond in the rough signees become a star.
