Well, for the first time since Sunday evening, I finally feel like I am back in the world again. Between days worth of back spasms and then that TURRIBEL stomach virus, I was siriusly out of it, down and out.

I was finally able to get back on all my meds today, including my "little friends", my 10/325 hydrocodones. If I ever had any doubts about still needing them, being without them for 2+ days assuaged me of that notion. Without them, the back spasms became unbearable to the point of tears, not ashamed to admit. So, once again, to all who want to harp about an Opioid Epidemic, you may, at your discretion, kiss my big white recently dehydrated HINEY, I need my little friends just to survive the back pain. That is their intended purpose, and I do not abuse the dosages.

Thanks to all who prayed for me to get better, prayer works and is always greatly appreciated. And for the rest of you, I pray you have better discretion the next time around, as there will Shirley be a next time around.

:)

I haven't been on much medication period in my life other than alot of morphine when i was almost killed in a car accident at 17, hospital for a month.

however there are a few times since then i was perscribed a small amount of hydrocodone 5 pills i believe after a dental procedure, i only used 3, had a few left over.

about a year later i was doing some heavy labor outside on what felt like a 100 degree day, i wasn't feeling well before, but after 11 hours of heavy moving and really dehydrated it honestly felt like everything hurt, i took one of the remaining 2, and wow.....in a situation where you really need them the contrast is amazing, i fell asleep within an hour and woke up next day with no pains whatsoever, would usually take about 3 days to recover from that type of day.

yes the opioid crisis should be directed at those who abuse them and those adding things like fent to them, but as usual the consequences are aimed at those trying to get then legally.

Exactly. Calling it an Opioid Epidemic is a complete mismomer. It is an

Opioid ABUSERS Epidemic, which is no different than any other drug abuse problem. Illegally obtained, "on the street" versions of unknown strength or containing who knows what else can kill you with one dose. So can a host of other drugs. Sadly, as long as there is a demand, there will always be a market supply, I fear.
