That is always the case for Coach Brownell. Sometimes he has started really weak and gets it going by mid ACC season play and then falters late.


It has been a combination of quick starts then crash and burn,

...And thuds at the beginning, then maybe there is a chance, to splat at the end.

yes, one out of 14 years.

The sweet sixteen was the only one where they had a finished completed success.
There were two close years:

his first season with Coach Oliver Purnell's players, but that was his honeymoon season at Clemson.

The COVID season started out ok, but that team really crashed and burned late after starting the season so strong.

This team lacks talent. We can get by the early schedule l, but the lack of talent and mediocre at best coaching shows itself in conference play. Hopefully this NIL will allow us to have at least 1 or 2 players on our roster who will start in the NBA.

With 14 opportunities Brownleigh has put together one solid season. That’s 10 more opportunities that he should’ve gotten. Even Tommy Bowden put together one solid season with nine tries.

Not always.

Sometimes we suck pre-conference and win enough games to get on the bubble but not past it.

We don't always do well early and then fade.

Coach finds multiple ways for us to have a non-NCAA performance!
