I don’t understand why we do these screens when we have WRs who can’t block, or are constantly penalized trying to block? If it’s an extension of our run game, just run it. I guess it may be an attempt to cover OL issues.

You guys really do have a history of bad qb recruits. Your best was Conner Shaw.. and was he really a quarterback? I mean I guess he made it work but no one really recruited him . But yeah I agree the coots have missed on a number of QBs.

there are certainly other factors
not as simple as “dj is bad”
he will get the bulk of the attention because he is the qb
- cade has similar problems when he is in the game
we have some issues (personnel and scheme/play calling)
dj has not played well
but not the sole reason we are an underachieving offense

His God given talent isn't good enough. So it is partially his "fault". Mainly because he cannot inspire the team to win tough games. That's what great QB's do. DJ isn't one of them.
