No because he beat us last season. That’s all they care about.

He will be by the end of the season.

If he hadn’t beaten us and Tennessee last year he would have entered this season on the hot seat and might have been fired at the end but because of those two victories it buys him more time.

IF they lose the rest of the games and finish 4-8 or 5-7 Next year could be it for him.

No. I would give him 4 more yrs. The costs are not going to get anyone to turn that decades old losing team around. They just can't recruit the talent. If I was Beamer I would pull a Prime and replace half the team with portal players and keep using the portal. They can't do much worse.

I thought the story was, he was recruiting well. Even out recruiting us.

I'm not saying the state of SC is a hot bed of talent but they dang near swept the top recruits this cycle. He tells a good story but he hasn't been able to hang on to their top talent, with the exception of Rattler. Bell, Lloyd, Burch, all left and are playing well at their new schools. That says a lot about the culture and NIL opportunities.

No they got way too much mayonnaise invested in that guy

Oct 14, 2023, 10:14 PM

Are they gonna try to lure a mustard guy like Deion to replace him? Never gonna happen.

He will be gone after next year.

Wish we would just pull the trigger after this season.

He's a good guy and I think he could be good HC

But it's becoming clear he was not ready for primetime. Especially with trying to manage a turnaround in the SEC.

He will get another year unless they go 3-9. If they go 5-7 with a win over us, they ight give him an extension. If they beat TAMU, that will be it for Jimbo though.

I think because of how last year went... hes fine this year but next year he will need to win 8 or so.

Agree. He entered the season with some momentum following the big wins last year. You can't overstate how devastating the Florida loss was. I fully expect their season is going to come off the rails. Upcoming losses to Mizzou, Kentucky, A&M, and Clemson. 4-8 isn't unreasonable at this point.

Don’t they have an even tougher schedule next year than this year?
