That it is 100% IMPOSSIBLE to determine offside unless you are perfectly aligned on the offside line. The only one on the line was the ref who was in perfect position to see if #30s head was over the line, which apparently he was. The TV cameras were all at least 10 yards off the one and waaay off the field.

It's an easy thing to prove and all soccer linesman go through exercises to prove it. If you're 3 yards out of position a player can be up to a yard over or not over and you cannot tell.

I think he was offside based on how close it looked on TV and the position of the refs. The only irrefutable proof would be a camera on the line or axis cameras like they use in soccer.

In both sports it's any part of the body.
In football the kicker is exempt.

It's any part of the body. That's why there so many controversial calls during soccer matches
