If he fell on his face the first 2 games, most of the coverage would be negative. But that ain’t the case. Regardless of his comments and theatrics, his team seems well coached and disciplined. They get a step up in competition this week for sure, but he and his team have delivered results when very few thought he could. More than one way to skin a cat I guess.

Yes. The media and especially ESPN are slobbering over this guy 24/7 to the point of nausea. Of course, Deion being Deion, he is lapping it up. Probably the biggest ego ever and no matter how much of that God talk he lays out, he is a bonafide racist and never ceases to play the race card. He is pitiful.

The only time I rooted for Deion was when he was with the Cowboys. I have been a Dallas fan since the the 70's . It was even hard to pull for him then.

Kind of figured crickets. Just because Deion is pro black community does not mean he is anti white… stupid comment by a 70 year old man, but not surprising.

I'm hardly following football this year and STILL the amount of Colorado and Deion propaganda and shaft riding I keep hearing is insane. I don't hate Deion but my god, it's like hearing about politics, Kanye West, Elon Musk, or any of the Kardashians at this point. Can't avoid it even if you try!

Otherwise ESPN, Deion, Colorado and obviously every Hollywood star will ride this until the wheels fall off.
Oregon 35 Colorado 21
Unless Bo Nix reverts back to Auburn’s version.

cat in the grand scheme of things. He's walked his talk largely throughout life, and he is very dedicated to winning and doing what it takes of himself to accomplish that. He throws his hat over the fence regularly, and retrieves it more often than not. And who really hates Colorado? Anyone?
It's a fun story. Winning is hard. Consistently even harder. They'll have a decent season and optimism will abound.
Go football.

As long as they have a chance to be bowl eligible, he will be in the spotlight. Even a 6-6 regular season would be an amazing accomplishment, a year after being named one of the five worst football programs in the country.

I’m sure it won’t keep his detractors from bashing him when they lose a game though.

Yea he has won every game so far, but he has not played a team with a pulse yet. TCU lost 34 players from last years team. The next 3 weeks we will see what Colorado is working with. He has brought some hype to that program especially with all the celebrities that he has showing up to the games standing on the sidelines. He is relating to the players these days.

Yep, sure am. Kind of reminds we of when a certain team that wears Orange and White started winning games they weren't supposed to. I think a lot of folks around the country got sick of hearing about them...
That's what winning does, it makes others jealous and tired of hearing the buzz.
We need to go win this fricking game on Saturday and get everyone outside of South Carolina sick of hearing about us AGAIN!
Until that happens, when you see Deion, turn the channel because that is what winning does, it gives others a platform to spread there shtick.

Why? DEION is here to stay. They aren't gonna win every game but everyone is watching and talking about him, his son, and Colorado. He's the starvof the season so far.

The louis luggage speech was just awful. He stood in front of a room full of kids and pretty much told them they were all worthless and to get out. Then, he got in front of the camera and said that the reason people don't like what he's doing is because he's black. Here I was, thinking the reason I didn't like what he was doing was that he was being a jerk.
FWIW, I loved Deion as a kid. When he was the center fielder for the Braves, my sister brought home a bright orange cat. Because of Deion's "Neon Deion" nickname back then, we named the cat Deion Sanders. Go Braves.
