Im glad I looked at the new parking map

Sep 8, 2016, 2:26 PM

I've been parking on the walker course for a few years now. It was the best general public lot on game day. It is no longer general public. It is labeled as lot IPTAY lot 26. So for those of you that also park there and didn't know, now you do. I know a lot of you pay for passes and donate a lot of money towards IPTAY so I don't want to b!tc#, but I am a bit disappointed. Guess in order to tailgate I'll have to pay for the upper part of the C1 LOT. Speaking of the C1 lot. I have seen where some people are trying to charge anywhere from 75 to 100 per game for their iptay spot in the front part of the C1 lot. You are complete idiots. No one is paying that. Why would anyone pay $100 for a spot that is only a few feet away from the $20 pay to park spots. Okay rant over.

Free parking in Auburn was awesome. Easy in, easy out.***

Yeah I think the demand for tickets and parking has increased exponentially. Iptay needed to take advantage of it. I have no problem with that. Got to keep up with the big boys

construction ate up a lot of parking this year and increased

demand didn't help out either. I have seen quite an increase in ticket and parking prices. It's a good problem to have because that means the product has gotten better. I hope all of the Tiger fans still get what they need but we are in a different time and place....remember when you could buy a ticket for $5 outside? You don't want that again, do you!!?

I'm glad you mentioned that. After getting assigned to an off campus shuttle lot, I was thinking I could park over that way. Sounds like that's a no. I wonder if you'll need a hangtag to even ride in that way this year or if they will still allow general parking on the roadside? I could see there being traffic issues if a bunch of people drive over thinking there is parking to be had.

Yeah because If I didn't check I would have headed over there like I always do. Now I have time to game plan
