In all seriousness though, can fans of a school offer players money as long as they are not giving money to the schools? We all know this is going on and we all know who the primary perpetrators are. Surprised more parents have not mentioned this activity.

I'm pulling for no team in the SEC to have 0 or 1 losses this year. I want them all to have at least two losses, preferrably those losses would be to non-$EC teams. I am SO tired of hearing about their superiority.

By the way, I did NOT watch either of the "games of the century" last year. And I didn't miss a thing.

I'm confused... how are you getting that SEC fans are offering money from that quote?

To me, it seems she is saying that other school's fans are saying that the reason her son is going to Clemson is because he was paid. And that assumption on the part of jilted fans is what disgusts her. That nothing of the sort happened.

How did you get from there to here?
