For a 6.5 Creedmoor and not planning on shooting further than 400 yards. Any suggestions? I am a beginner in the world of shooting rifles. Thanks for the advice ??

Vortex is a good one for that price range. I have the Diamondback scope on my .270 and it works well for up to a few hundred yards. Not sure if it's important to you or not, but these aren't made in the USA. Leupold makes a good scope as well, has a model toward the top of your range (VX model), and are made in Oregon I believe.

Sort of. The optics are made in Japan while the bodies and components and mfg’d in the Philippines or China. Usually assembled in China, but they have stateside operations. Best warranty in the business.

Good thing is there’s a range of decent scopes at that price point capable of handling that range with clarity and since cm has virtually no recoil that’s not a factor in scope choice. Good suggestions already by everyone. I’m partial to leupold but also have several vortex optics and love them too

SWFA SS fixed scopes are a pretty good optic. Right around your price range at $300. Probably good with a 10x for 400 yards.

Id second the Leupold and Vortex recommendations and add Nikon to that. I have one on my 270 WSM, one on a .308 they’re every bit as clear as my Leupolds.

depending on what I am shooting at. The top one I use for squirrels, the middle one is for people, and the bottom one I used to shoot out that orange street light that came through my bedroom window at night.

No chance the grenade launchers flex the true position of the optics they are mounted on.

I once forgot that I was shooting a semiautomatic and tried to eject the first round and didn't get off a second shot at hogs.

Take a look at Primary Arms. They make some stuff that punches above its weight in that price range. Swampfox as well.
