I bet he would. He will lose though, so it will be interesting to find out how he takes it.

I kinda think so too, I can’t see him gracefully bowing out.
Can also see him running anyways as an independent. That’s where things would get really interesting…

I think it’s definite he runs as an independent. Didn’t he threaten that in 2016 early when things weren’t going his way?

Of course he'll run as an independent if he loses. Does anyone think Trump is going to suddenly morph into a team player? Like, puh-lease.
If Trump doesn't win the primary, he's still got more than enough support to torpedo whoever does in the general election. And of course he will.
Trump is going to make it abundantly clear there is no GOP without him running it. He'll never voluntarily give up his grip on his base...ever, and there's a hard core of probably 25-30% of America who will follow him forever, no matter what, and some Harvard-educated card-carrying member of The Establishment like DeSantis is never going to do it for them.
They liked Trump precisely because he was coarse and unrefined. DeSantis, Hawley, Ted Cruz...they can try to be Trump, but they will never be Trump, they're just politicians playing a role whereas for better or for worse, Donald is the genuine freewheeling bastage he purports to be.

I would hope he would have enough sense to know that stepping aside and doing everything he could to promote a Desantis Victory would be in his best long-term interests. However I can't ensure that he will behave that rationally

Any evidence of, or even allegation of voter fraud, proves that Trump was right all along about the 2020 election being stolen.

He is getting in Trump's mind. He isn't calling it an actual reality.

It will mean multiple egos will have to step aside to clear the field.
In a big field Trump wins again.

Of course he's going to "claim" voter fraud.

How serious he is about it is probably dependent on two things.
1) If he really wants to be President or thinks he has a shot at succeeding, then yes probably takes it to all the courts. 2) If he is just doing it to fundraise, probably talks about voter fraud but just continues as an independent.

Of course he will, because he doesn't care about anything but Trump. He doesn't care about the GOP any more than he cares about the Constitution. And he can't get suckers to send him money if he doesn't keep running.
DeSantis can beat Trump one-on-one. The problem (for anti-Trump Republicans) is that Pence will also run, so they will be immediately splitting the non-Trump voters right there. And if Lynne Cheney runs as the "principled conservative." Etc.
Then you end up with what they had back in 2016, by the time everyone but (in that case, John Kasich) drops out, it is too late to stop Trump from getting the nomination.
It would be fascinating to watch, if Trumpism wasn't such a threat to the democracy.
