Who amongst you actually thinks were going to beat the tar holes?

It’s a foregone conclusion we’re losing that game. I’m just curious to see the excuses from the Brownlee boys as to why....lack of money, tobacco road refs, it's "haaaaard" to win on the road, etc. Can't wait to see the multitude of reasons why we lost.

The lack of responses to this post are your answer.

I think we will probably lose at UNC.

That’s a fair prediction regardless of how good we are. There is a reason why we’ve only won once there in many tries, and it is because UNC is a basketball school that devotes considerably more resources to their basketball program than we do, and it shows in their talent level and their success.
Not sure what the point of your post is, other than to antagonize.

The resources argument has been shown time and time again to false move on from that. I believe in one post you even gave credit to coach Brownell for being a major part of getting all the renovations done.

And there it is. The old " lack of resources" argument, which is demonstrably false. Nobody is attempting to "antagonize" (to use your words). But drawing attention to the old, tired excuses as to why we can't win is precisely the mindset we need to get rid of.

Sad response JK. We have enough resources to make occasional noise in both the NCAA’s and ACC tourney.
We do neither on a consistent basis. Heck going to the NCAA’s is currently a pipe dream much less making any noise.
If grammatical errors are all you have, for the record, I could care less.

Please come up with something different… this argument is very tiring to see and really makes zero sense at all… and really it’s just not true. And before you post some dumb link or talk about the biggest reason is assistants salary you won’t find a single person on this board that expects us to compete with duke, unc, Kansas, etc in basketball. Nobody thinks that is reality bc we are a football school first and most are good with that and want that , but this excuse is ignorant thinking and most realistically Would love to just make the tourney every other year and make a little noise every now and then in the ncaa and acc tourney. Which this league today compared to the past should be attainable. He’s just not a very good in game coach as far as making adjustments and having the team ready and he’s had 14 years to prove other wise. I think he’s a phenomenal man and great for our university but it’s well beyond time to take a chance with someone else … unless we go on a crazy run but not sure anyone had confidence in that at this point. And before the idiots come out with “BB doesn’t miss free throws, or miss 3s, or not rotate on defense, etc” he IS however the head coach and it’s his job to have the team ready. Why do results just not matter for him like they do and would for almost any other coach in America. Again why in 14 years has no one tried to hire him away , there’s a legit reason for that.

It can't be that hard to win on the road. Most teams seem to do it pretty easily on the road against Clemson, and the one's that don't sure do make a game of it.

It’s tough to win on the road in any sport but it should not be an excuse.
