Was how little we really threatened FSU. How many times did they truly feel pressure? Maybe once or twice briefly across both games?

It would be a bit different if they had won like 3-1, got out of a few scary innings and were relieved to get the win. But it seems like it felt almost easy for them.

Hopefully we can come out and show them more in game 3. I’m hoping that it was just kind of a shock to our system yesterday to play a team that much better as opposed to our recent schedule (the doubleheader probably didn’t do us any favors either) and that we can respond strong. Important game today (if the weather allows)

Do you think some of it was Florida State rotating pitchers to keep our hitters off balance? I couldn't watch the second game so I don't know if that rotation continued or not.

You can always expect Sandercock to deal but more concerning was our inability to do any damage to the freshman lefty who started game 1. It was her first career start, so she should’ve been put under pressure by a top 5 team on the road. But she was able to pretty much cruise

I would say that's an excellent summation. I know I was disappointed on the exact same thing. Even losing the series, or even getting swept... if we were competitive.
