I think it’s likely a very disappointing few years for Clemson football.

I don’t really think there will be much internalization of the season.

Dabo will double down on his coaching approach without sufficient challenge.

We will win a couple of ACC Championships in the next 4-yrs.

The playoff will expand. We will become increasingly less relevant as we double and triple down on poor coaching that ultimately drives away talent itself.

That’s the future for about 3-5 yrs. Dabo will quit in frustration within that timeframe thanking yet blaming all of you in one speech.

Outlier prediction is that Dabo makes dramatic changes to address our deficiencies. This will require a boatload of humility. Does he have it?

Like to think so-

There’s a prediction for you.

I think he’ll quit and blame the fans for turning on him

Screw Calford.

Unfortunately we’ll have a strong returning group, and that will provide cover For a coaching staff that doesn’t face sufficient challenge that makes them better. In fact they’ll shy away from it.

You mean the fans that believed in him and made him a millionaire?

I would rather he leave if he wants to think like that. We do not need a Bobby Bowden situation where it was a constant downward trend for a decade.

If a coach no longer wants to win, and has other ideas on what he wants to accomplish

Time to move on and I wish him the best

I agree with almost all of this. I don’t unfortunately believe that Dabo will have the humility to basically admit his mistake and fire these guys and get better talent at the coordinator level. I can see him taking his money and running in 3 to 5 years as well.

He will coast along winning 9-10 games a year on pure recruiting talent for a few more years and then, once the Clemson brand is dead and no highly ranked players will come here anymore, he will bail out and ride off into the sunset with a net worth over $100 million.
