I believe Cade Klubnik will have a Heisman worthy season. Hope I'm right.

Ironically I just watched it as well over the past two evenings. Was just trying to get hyped up for the season. What I saw is Cade brought energy, spark, and decisive throws which completely turned that game around. He was crisp in his decision making.
On the other hand there were at least 2 throws he made that, against a better defense, would have been picked off. One of them would definitely have been a pick6. UNC's defense was pretty terrible last year.
Let's hope he and the whole team can put it all together.

… a reliable indicator of anything having to do with real games once the season begins.
As a fan, the Spring Game never tells you anything of value.
Never!

Go watch DJ in spring games. Watch the one before 21’. Was a pretty good indicator of things to come.

Notre Dame and BC games when TL16 had the COVID’s. He was unreal! Yes, we lost the ND game (not having Salksky hurt) but I think (could be wrong) DJ threw for the MOST EVER yards against ND at home. Think about that - ND has played a lotta games and for DJ to hold that record is unbelievable.
But go to the ACCCG vs UNC and he can’t hit the side of a barn from 10’ away! He was like the proverbial Forest Gump box o’ chocolates- you never knew what you were gonna get.
To Wild a roller coaster for me!
Wish him the best at Oregon St and,
GO TIGERS!

I went and Googled and DJ’s 439 passing yards is the ND record.***

No one will ever be able to explain those 2 games in 2020. It’s unbelievable that was the same human being we saw play against the chickens last season.

This quote by Trevor after the 2019 Spring Game tells you all you need to know about what we think we see in that controlled scrimmage.
“ We got a lot of play-makers. I mean, obviously the new guys Frank (Ladson) and Joe (Ngata)—they had a great spring, and Travis had a good spring,” Lawrence said. “Tavien (Feaster), Lyn-J (Dixon), those three guys had an awesome spring, got a lot better…”
Other than ETN, the rest of those guys failed to help us get better.

Have watched it a couple of times. Don't understand how he wasn't ready for the previous game.

Hindsight it always 20/20 but I agree. If Dj had been on the bench for the USCjr game, we would have won.

He brought energy and made some decent throws.
We need to see if he can read a defense.
I'm concerned with his rollouts and him trying to make things happen on broken plays. It's high risk/high reward and it didn't work too well against Tennessee.

he looked great (considering UT already played Alabama and Georgia)
he was just a total of 30yards away from lighting up the scoreboard (red zone and field goals are the only reason the L happened)

Question: Will Clemson be better at the QB position this season than the last two seasons?
Answer: Unless the first three QBs on the depth chart get knocked out - absolutely. Even then it’s a 50-50 proposition.

Hope you are right, but we’ve got to be honest with ourselves, UNC’s defense was absolutely horrific last year.
Against TN, whose defense was only average, he struggled mightily. He threw the ball #### near 50 times and didn’t even throw a TD.
