I finally watched the whole game...

And there are some positives. We left so many points on the field. There were so many uncharacteristic drops by our WRs. We clean that up and it looks like a different game.

For Troy to go for it on 4th and 1 deep in their own territory and get a TD was ludicrous...I feel like there was some sloppy play on defense. I feel like Troy did a great job up front on their D and may have used their smaller, athletic line to their advantage.

Kendall Joseph looked like a straight beast. He made a lot of great plays. His hands looked better than some of our WR's in that game...

McCloud, aside from the ball drop, looked very crisp in his running. He's going to be a great one. He's very elusive.

Renfrow may be the second best receiver on this team behind Williams. Incredible catch in the endzone.

I think we'll look much more like a top 5 team next weekend. Better that we work out the kinks early all the while sitting at 2-0.

Did you notice the missed blocks by the offensive line ? Many times the OL did not hold blocks... This disrupted the play... It through off the timing... This must get corrected... It all starts up front...

Are the drops really uncharacteristic at this point?

That's now two games in a row with "so many points left on the field" because of drops. And why can't these guys get open against Troy DBs?

The regression from last year to this year so far is kind of shocking. It's almost all of the same players.
