The original wooden double hung windows installed by the builder began to show signs of age (deteriorating, warping, leaking, air barrier failures, etc.). I replaced several of them individually as they failed but eventually replaced them all with vinyl replacement windows. It was a "big number". Close to $15,000 (this was years ago) but well worth the investment that made the house much more energy efficient. If I remember correctly I obtained pricing from three vendors (Window World, Taylors Window, and Southern Vinyl Siding and Window Manufacturing). I went with Window World because of their responsiveness and because the lifetime warranty was transferrable to the new owner when we eventually sold the house. Never had a minute of trouble with them and even had the same windows installed in my parents house.

Here are my 2 cents:

1) I know they cannot control the mfgs but for me to just get a single hr update call before the previous month scheduled work plan 3hr window that I had adjust my work schedule around was quite frustrating for me to then update my work manager. Then another reschedule and another reschedule.

Initial install planned for today 8-10am. Current time 9:30am.
No one called this morning to inform me if they are on the way. I had to call their HQ – to see if install was still today. The customer service did not know the extension to report the issue highlighted:
If you ever use PowerHRG Windows, get email hard copy and DO NOT use Power Pulse Magic Link website as I can no longer login even though I have an install today.
10:20 and they are not here. I don’t expect them to here exactly on time but HELLO? A call from them before I called their HQ would have been better customer care.
Arrived at 10:27, 4 people, 3 don’t speak English but 1 does, I think the other 3 speak Spanish but not sure which dialect. Had to ask for English speaker to see if I should open the back screen door and gate for the sliding door bigger frames. Some kind of #### stain on the stairs.
One Spanish installer used toilet downstairs and didn’t ask. He did apologize after I walked down there to check how the window install was going and noticed the bathroom door shut and then he came out. ###
11:32 they are still working on sliding door install (worried about leveling it) and down stair vacuuming.
11:46 now 3 are working on the sliding door. They started with 2.
11:50 all 4 up here, one Spaniard singing. I wouldn’t mind their singing if I was not worried about the level of the sliding door.

12:10 all working.
12:15 inside right side has a gap and measures different from left side. So to fix then cutting inside molding at the bottom then moving top and right side down to hide the gap.
12:30 almost through and vacuuming and caulking in white.
12:40 cleaning glass on slash. Downstairs window has some slight black stains not sure if it has been cleaned like upstairs yet.
12:50 still working on downstairs outside and door outside.
After they left found debris in street right outside of drive way and more importantly found a crack in the frame of the door on the outside of the door top.
1:57 I am on the phone with Warranty CS wait time for local service was too long so sending email with pictures.

Today, PowerHRG installed sliding door, window slash and new window.

Issues:
1) After crew left, I noticed a crack on the outside of sliding door. Pictures attached.
2) Debris in drive way and street. Other contractors have used metal detectors. Picture attached.
3) I had to asked for caulk on outside after multiple different installs.
4) No longer able to login into Power Pulse Magic Link website

3:15 Since last time check, I completed another check for cracks and found glass cracks on outside none sliding side. And still no email confirmation.
3:31 More I think about it because of the issues during install, the English-speaking installer said “…call warranty if any other issues found” is eerily haunting and I worry that the sliding door install is final. Still no confirmation email.

Spoke with GreenSky rep and informed Luke of the issue with no PowerHRG local warranty communication.

1) I had previously accidentally cancelled Greensky additional credit and additional to cost to Outback Decking and their local office project manager contacted me.
2) Initial install of PowerHRG Windows install slash replacement.
Called their support number and waited a few minutes to then
Speak with Eddie.
They PowerHrg will Order new sliding door from Pella estimate of last week of November likeliness. Could be 4-5 weeks from today.
In relation to other questions, did issue occur during installation? Is it covered under warranty? Do you know how to contact local installer? Have you cancelled GreenSky? Did GreenSky contact you? After talking with installer did you check if they will handle GreenSky issue?

Called their support phone number and confirmed that time is okay. Lady that I called, said the sliding door is on order and when it comes in if a closer date works then they will call at that time.

Todd or Tyler the Installer showed up earlier than expected and I woke up late and to him to return later.
He had trouble installing the pane that was ordered (after I told him I had order and showed nicks in the other panel) and he would check the warehouse for a replacement and would call.

After noon, I called the hotline again and I was told that Tyler had ordered 2 new panes and 3rd install will be on Jan. 25, 2023.

I had 5 windows and sliding door replaced by Power HRG.

I like the new windows and door but the installation process was torment. After 4 months, 4 different installation visits and a 4pg personal journal of all the issues with them. I will spare you all the details but please understand that although all the frustrations were eventually addressed after my patience waned, I WILL NOT use them again and I suggest you DO NOT use them.
