I believe Dabo will have these guys well prepared this year,as crazy as it sounds I dont believe the rivalry really sunk in with Dabo and this team until last year. Better late than never. Get em Tigers

comments by coaches and players, usually only carry over to a few plays, hits, series at the beginning of the game and then that wears off.

of play for longer than that, just not so much the bulletin board stuff. In my opinion, anyway.

The bulletin board material is the music,the crowd is the volume and this is what keeps the team hyped. Look at what Georgia did in response to being called soft by a teammate.

some people think that Dabo's rant last year was aimed at the ##### and spurrier . it was done for one reason and one reason only , to fire up the team and get em back on track for VT . From what i saw it worked pretty well.

I do think bulletin board material can help with focus during the week of preparation. That may be the greatest benefit. You are correct in that the boost is usually gone after a few plays but that is when talent and preparation take over.
