When Jeff Scott left for South Florida, WRU left with him. We are a one dimensional team (running the ball) with mediocre run blocking & not bad pass blocking. We have no go-to playmakers at WR. I see it, you see it and the opposition sees it. Opposing teams know #1 and #7 are formidable threats and their D’s focus on stopping our run game. Take #9 stat’s from last night off the board, and it’s glaring that we have ZERO passing game. Add in an inexperienced, boneheaded QB and that’s our team. Sux!

Short yardage with this team is very hard to watch and predictably gets blown up about 95% of the time , very hard to watch at times.

WRs now cost $2million+. We spent all our money on coaches and parking decks.

Correct on all. Just wish some of the millions of dollars of coaches we had would recognize and address the problems.

OL IS MAIN ISSUE. Very average wide receivers and running backs are next

is not good. However, #1 & #7 are very good backs. Play calls doom them from the start. Why don’t we try pitching the ball and let them utilize their speed. I am soooo sick of seeing our RB’s ram into the OL/DL scrum for no or negative yards. It’s like the coaching staff believes they will magically start morphing through human bodies and come out behind the defense. It’s insanity. It all stems from us being one dimensional with no passing game.

Good backs....I wouldn't say very good.
For some reason Ship has lost a step. Mafah, needs to lose a few IMO. Agree, the lak of push from OL is beyond concerning...part based on what was said abt that group preseason
