I always believed 'til now

Nov 16, 2014, 11:00 PM

That if we had great recruits we would win. We now have many four and five star recuits, and we have out recruited many schools year end and year out like Miss. State, TCU, West Virginia, Duke and Georgia Tech and the list goes on and on with the teams we have beaten in recruiting, but we still can't put together a descent team. I'm sorry, I love Clemson and always will, but Chad Morris still can't put a descent offense on the field in spite of the fact that is what he is paid to do. Is it time he goes back to high school coaching? I know longer believe in Swinney, either. My expectations for Clemson have never been so low. I'm tired of being let down every year. I'm at the point that I expect nothing better next year or in the near future except more pain.

Your attitude which was previously positive is...

reflected in your pulse.

Why do we need a "descent team?" I also think our team is more than decent.

Recruiting rankings can be hit or miss, we haven't missed on many recently. Against a team like GT their offense can neutralize talent gaps with the deception/several different options where you have to be very disciplined. Let's not forget that their defense isn't as terrible as some people claim and they scored 12 points off the defense.

Would you rather have had the success the past 3 years or go back to Tommy Bowden and hoping for 8-4/9-3?

I'm no Bowden fan but

I'm disappointed with what we have now. I don't see anything getting better at Clemson.

9-3 looks pretty good right now, doesn't it? No Bowden fan here, but at I'm sure Dabo would trade records against SCU with him!

But wouldn't you say based on your recruits and coaches that you've underachieved? How about your degree and job? Does it say midlands tech or USC on diploma?

I award you no points, banish you back to the coop, and may God have mercy on your soul.

With all his success, his highest salary was $25,000 a year. The president of the university, Dr. R. F. Poole, feared that professors who earned less would be upset. "He called me up and said that he didn't want me to tell anybody what I made," Howard once said. "I said: 'Doc, you don't have to worry. I'm as ashamed as you are of what you pay me.' Yep, at 37%, Rowdy and Captain must be roommates at the coop. Oh yeah, congrats on your win against that team with a losing record. One would have thought you won the Super bowl or something.
Geez.

I mean, seriously? I've been reading this board for so long and just signed up to post, and yet I still can't understand how people reach their conclusions. We lost to 2 teams who probably are gonna both end up in the playoff (UGA is playing great ball and I'm not sure they can't go toe to toe with any West team RIGHT NOW...they are peaking), and we had a bad day when our phenom QB got hurt in ATL. There's no way in heck that Fla St won't end up with a loss. They've done well to comeback in games, but they'll go to the playoff with a loss..if the loss doesn't kick them out. So, we will probably have 2 more losses than the NC team and 2 of them are top ten. And while Fla St has had our number for 2 whole yrs (gasp!), we had a helluva streak on them before that.

I do agree that the Chad has some things to prove. My grandma could coach offense with Tajh, Nuke, Sammy, Andre then Hot Rod, Martavius, and Dwayne...and she's dead. Now is when he needs to show he's worth the money. Still waiting on him to show me.

But lost faith in Swinney? He's made mistakes and will make more...but he's been 11-2, 11-2, 10-3 or whatever. And we fire him. I dont get some of ya'll. Ok. We fire him. Next guy comes in and doesn't give ya'll a NC and two 12-1 seasons in his first 3 years. So, then we fire him too? and the next and the next? No coach will wanna come here!! If we fire a dude who's been 32 and 6 or something, what coach is gonna look at this as a place of 'job security'?!? Is Dabo the answer? Time will tell. Still to be written. But start axing people and giving up after the first success we've had since 1991...1991...I just don't get it.

And furthormore, the next guy could turn out to be the next Nick Saban. He could also turn out to be the next Muschump.

What is adequate to you folks?? ONE TEAM WINS THE NC. ALOT OF TIMES, THEY AREN'T UNDEFEATED. I THINK OUR TIME IS COMING. IT SURE AS HELL WASN'T WITH WEST OR BOWDEN.

This board kinda makes me feel like I do in my life. Like I'm the only sane person surrounded by a bunch of bat-poop nuts people.

I mean, crap, let's just fire everyone, raze the Valley and build a rose garden, and we'll build some bleachers out by Hartwell and go pull for the rowing team. Well, shoot, then we'll have to fire the rowing coach. nm...

And one more #### thing...

Did none of you people not prepare yourselves for a possible 1-2 start? We replaced EVERY SINGLE SKILL POSITION, we had to go to freakin Athens and play the Dawgs, and to Tallehussy to play the NCs...and were in both games. On the road. With a completely new offense. Hello McFly...Helloooo McFly.

Perspective, people...perspective.

Mark it..we beat USC this year and next. We beat Fla St at our house. And the sky will be the limit. But that aint good enough. Off with their heads. Burn it all down. Good Lord...
