NO. 44-16 Alabama football rout was. It was like watching the great UCLA basketball teams of the 1970s routing a helpless opponent. Total domination. Clemson's most impressive Natty won.

As magical as that season was, that Championship was expected this was so out of left field it's not even fathom able. My head might literally explode and my heart might just cease to exist if we are to win a basketball championship

best college football team in the history of the game

(it was so good National Media ignored it)


but TLaw broke All American Notre Dame and broke Nick Saban

Saban never recovered and Kirby took over

I can’t be pick between the 81 FB national championship but the 16 and 18 showed a clear glide path to get there. We had recruited very well and had either won it or been very much in the conversation in couple years before so winning it was no big surprise. Winning a MBB NC would be shocking in the sports world. We by-and-large haven’t gotten the big recruits, or transfers are perceived to be good but not necessarily elite and well the coach is the guy lots of people wanted fired 2 weeks ago.

Considering the number of fans who were thinking/ hoping we would lose to New Mexico, to not be impressed is just silly. Had we won the 2015 NC would have a different opinion but a MBB NC this year would easily be the most impressive thing I’ve seen Clemson do.

The Longhorns have won 65 national titles including four in football and six? in baseball.

But we've never picked one up in basketballl.

It's incredibly hard, and impressive, what Clemson is doing this season.
