They didn't travel all that well

in their defense, it's tough to pack in 15 family members in their sistercousin's pickup truck

I thought they traveled well - new and exciting to bein ACC

But I bet they have new different reasons to come this time to the game.

I hope the Orange drowns out any Red in the Stands and that we are 80,000 loud with the leftovers being LU fans

Inwas thinking they wouldn't travel too well considering they didn't know they'd be this good.

It's not practical for them to buy tickets now. I was thinking around 5k.

I was there 2 years ago and Louisville brought a lot of fans. Im going this year and they are bringing more. Not sure where you guys get your info. Louisville fans generally travel really well. Always have.

because we know what it is like with home games in Clemson.

We don't offer much tickets for sale to away teams to start, and they are horrible seats. This leaves the cards fans having to buy on stubhub. I imagine that y'all travel better than most the acc, but that's not saying much.

I can't see there being more fans than FSU brings, and that's still only 10k max.

Small group but very cordial and fun to hang out with.***

I mean, they filled their alloted seats. Better than some

other ACC teams. I don't think they were buying up extra tickets though like ND or FSU fans do.

BTW, that was a PERFECT day for college football weather-wise.

As I recall, that was the Homecoming game. I sat in the Presidents box for that game and had an enjoyable time ..... until I went through a road check at 2:15 in the morning on the way home. That's when I fell out of love with late games! lol
Tigers were lucky to win that game

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If I recall correctly, they did have posts on their message

Sep 28, 2016, 11:46 AM

boards that had a lot of people saying they'd never come back because of the traffic.

I bet they will though.

From what I recall, they mostly enjoyed the trip though.

They will travel well this year. I am a Clemson Alum living in Louisville. I've spoken with a lot of people that say they are coming. Some staying at Lake Keowee...some making a golf trip out of it...and others coming for the game only. I'm going to the game...and I'm bringing 4 Louisville fans with me. And I've got several others wanting to stop by and tailgate...

They were excited about this season before the FSU win...but that blowout put excitement in this town to the stratosphere. Lot's of folks that weren't going before that...are going now.

And everyone I've talked to that went two years ago raves about how nice we are as Clemson fans...I just say that's what we do. It's awesome to hear that when I actually live in Louisville. We need to show that same courtesy this go 'round.

Go Tigers!
