Me were literally mocking my son for making so much noise when clemson was on defense.
I guess Yankees just do it different.

the same thing. The "DEFENSE GET LOUD" or "GET CLEMSON LOUD" graphic that flashes is never flashing after the team lines up (now at GT that's a different story). It either switches to an ad or the video feed of the play. That UL guy is just plain wrong, and probably needs some ADD medicine.
The commuter college fan clearly isn't used to any atmosphere more intense than a Furman home game.

Are they actually saying it was "too loud", "something should be looked at" and that the video board was meant to "disorient" the opposition? AHAHHAHAHAHAAH
I guess they're just not used to an electric environment in their big bad 50,000 seat Papa John Pizza stadium.

This guy needs to sit through a night game at gt if he wants to complain about a distracting strobe light when their opponent has the ball.

Clemson has been known as an extremely loud environment since at least the mid-70's. Dan Devine was certainly aware of it in '77.
If you don't come prepared to handle it, then it's YOUR problem.

Guess they don't know what a real stadium and fanbase should sound like.

They played in Carrier Dome several times. It's louder than anywhere else.
That's what Louisville fans say anyway.

I was at their place last year. Typical city crowd really not much different than Syracuse or BC except a much nicer city than 'Cuse and a better tailgating situation than BC. They're winning lately so there is heightened money and interest. Their crowd was filing out of Papa Johns with 6 mins left. At least 1/3 of their fans missed the last ditch pass at the end of the game. Was a guest of a lifelong 'Ville fan and he said they still need to learn how to be fans of big time football.
Their facilities are nice but overrated. The stadium concourses really do resemble a prison. For gods sake they were in Conference USA less than 10 years ago. If Patrino wasn't a scum bag other schools would easily lure him away this year. Good folks and a nice rival short term, but their history and tradition isn't even what BC, Pitt or Cuse bring. They might pick us off a time or two...but they aren't poised to challenge us long term.
