The football game was a CLEAR gift.

27.6% and a fumbled punt from a win and the playoffs. Clemson had a better season. The loss was clearly a gift of epic proportions. An anomaly. Coots finished ranked in football.
Baseball, brand new coach and system with an obvious problem in the bullpen. Lost to a quality team with only one loss on the year.
Basketball, 13th year coach with perhaps his 1st or 2nd best team ever, losing against a brand new coach and the 229th ranked coots.
Which was of these is not like the others?

Starting the wrong QB was the first mistake, the others just followed .. new year, new QB ..

The horrible loss was in basketball. South Carolina is 12th in sec and has won 11 games.
They are ranked #216.

It (football) hurt more (for me). But the turnovers were the issue - not coaching. It was simply a bad game - and we still lost by 1. Still stinks.

We came out strong and were ahead until 10 minutes were left

Tough call to replace the starter when you're winning the game, and an even tougher call to sit him down when only down by one in your home stadium.
I have to say, in hindsight it appears maybe Cade would have won it, but it makes sense why and how DJ had the chance to go win it with 10 minutes left.
