OK beer slide in safe stays on the base. Ball four has been awarded to the batter and he stayed on base until what looks like time is called. Beer steps off and the guy tags him. The only way he is out is by an over zealous umpire who just wanted sneak in an out. I think after seeing this replay Monte is going to have a different answer that he will not be able to say. The call was B*llSh*te period. That is a call that is made in daddy ball to help his son's team win. Bush league at best.

It was the right call. Time was never called. You don't call time for a walk. He came off the bag b/c he thought he was out and didn't look to see chris Williams jogging down to 1st before he did it. It's all good though we won

exactly how I felt. I almost didn't even want to put it up b/c it was so bad, but it had the play with beer that everybody was wondering about.
