If memory serves it was Wiggins that made the play...and it appeared beamer went after him and was saying something to him but the camera cut off of it...

Did i see that wrong?

At my glance it looked like he was clapping and gave him the ol “pat on the butt” sarcastically, in a “keep up the good/clean work.”

I was wondering why the refs didn’t do something about a coach coming out and touching a player unsolicited.

He threw his hands up like an insolent child at Wiggins then walked out, dropped to a knee and did it again towards our sidelines. Then he kept staring at our sideline. He really thought he would intimidate us with that.

Actually, he did something, just not clear what. I saw it and wondered what he was doing. It was after the second of two consecutive plays where Wiggins took out a receiver at the knees. The first one was Legette. The camera showed Beamer saying something directly to Wiggins, and the next shot from higher showed him following Wiggins at least 5 - 10 yards onto the field. There is also mention of it on the Game Thread on FGF.
