What Generators do y'all use/Recommend for Tailgating?
Say I was gonna need something to run a TV, maybe an electric grill, charge the phones. Nothing too crazy.
Looking for quiet, not too heavy and somewhat inexpensive.

Jackery. No gas required, plenty of juice, no noise.

You can easily run all you listed on 1000 watt depending on how much your grill pulls.
That is if you are really focused on size.
The 2000 watt generators are only a couple hundred more but you get twice the power. They are bigger... but still hand held if you can hold 40lbs.

Electric grill takes 1500 watts. Running TV, fans and grill at same time sometimes bogged up our 2000W Honda.

WEN 2350W less than $450 on Amazon. Will take care of everything you list, as quiet as other gas powered listed and 1/3 the price. Used it for two years now with no problems.

i had a Honda for 25 years with no issues. I only changed the oil and sparkplug once in that whole time. but i also only used it 6-7 times a year. Some 1 stole it but the 25 years made me a firm believer so a bought honda again.
I also went out a bought Brigs and Stratton law mower WITH a honda motor when my craftsman boinked on me after 2 years. I've had that mower for 10 years now.. no issues. still starts on 1st pull. I do change the oil and sparkplug ever year on it though. It's gets more use so i give it more attention .

You don't need a Honda or Yamaha generator. I have some off brand one I paid $300 for. Its a 2300 peak 2000 watt continous. I've had it now 4 years with zero issues. Solar is cool till you have no sun so if you go with solar be sure to get the large capacity one. Should run your tv all day with no issues. Electric grill will drain it fast.

I really hate all the generators.
I use a deep cycle battery. Silent. No fumes. No having to bring gas. Cheap. Doesn’t #### off everyone around you.
I wouldn’t try to run an electric grill on one though.

We've run TV, lights, phone chargers, DISH box, etc. with no problem. We have a propane grill.

Honda EU2000 with a propane conversion is the way to go. No dead gasoline or spills. Propane lasts forever. Go Tigers!
