The only way Ship leaves is to declare for the draft. I suppose he'll see what his draft status looks like only to remember that the page her turns if he goes pro won't be retractable.

It's still relatively early since the birth of NIL & the TP, could become a trend to gauge or stir interest. Typical self awareness doesn't apply here-

Shipley is from Weddington, NC.... he isn't going to make a decision based on money. Probably the nicest part of Charlotte.
The negative talk about him not making it in the NFL is what is going to make him leave. Outside of that, he'll be back next year.

So he doesn't need money? NFL is certainly generational and NIL can be millions for a lot of kids. Living in Weddington NC doesn't mean a thing

No, its not that he doesn't need money, but NFL money wouldn't be as game-changing for him than it would be for someone who did not grow up in Weddington, NC. The level of motivation for money alone would overall be significantly less in my opinion.
Now, if the word on the street is.... "You're a great college RB that will not make it in the pros".... In my opinion, that would be a reason he might consider not coming back to try and prove the doubters wrong.
I do not see him transferring to another school for NIL money. He has his own Shipolte in Clemson and his own "ship matters" tee shirt line.
But obviously... I could be wrong. We will see in about a month or so.

This seems like a pretty weak draft class for RB’s and I’ve seen him ranked as high as the 3rd RB and others don’t have him in the top 10.
Personally, I really like watching Shipley and hope he comes back. He seems to take a lot of big shots though, so perhaps better to get his $ before they start really adding up.
Worst case would be Tavien Feaster 2.0…but I think he’s a much better player.
