One loss means we won the ACC, beat them head to head, played and won one more game....and have better strength of schedule.

Yeah she blasted us this morning, essentially daring the Committee to say Clemson is a better team than Louisville. Hey Heather, maybe you forgot about October 1st...?

Silly argument. Transitive property does not work for college football. These two teams have played and there was one winner. If we win the ACC Championship, we are highly likely to be in the playoff, our real threats are Alabama if the don't win the SEC, Washington, Baylor/ WV, and the Big 10 representative. If Bama loses there will be a push to include them, also note there are 4 spots, but 5 Conference champions. That is the real threat for us (esp with a loss to FSU).

know that without turnovers our Tigers would look much stronger at 7-0, Hater Samich is willfully ignorant as a "analyst" if she thinks anyone would put Cards above the Tigers.
Now, if that did happen then "said" person should not be allowed to cover any sport event ever again. Head to head Samich, that is what matters above all else! She does realize we played and beat Louisville, right?? Guess we should never take her knowing football as anything obvious. Committe has much smarter people that have knowledge of football, not an armchair Samich maker ??

Don't you know? HD is the Playoff Committee expert for ESPN. All because they let her sit in the room during a mock exercise done by completly different people, during a different season. You are right....she said that she thinks Lamar Jackson is the best QB in the nation and she could see the conversation happening if both teams have one loss but her tone at least to me was pro Louisville.

last night. She said that since Louisville did to NCST what Clemson failed to do, that she could see committee members thinking Lousiville is better than Clemson after all, even though Clemson won the head to head.

Well...ignoring your blatant misogynism...we really just don't pass the 'eye test' right now. If we lose one more, style points are going to matter. Louisville is more fun to watch and they took care of business against NCST yesterday when we (by all rights) should have lost to them last week. In the eyes of many, we already have a loss.

Good catch...the perception right now is that we have a phantom loss. A real loss and we drop like a rock. Even if we win the ACCCG, I don't think we get in. We have to win out UNLESS we actually start playing to our potential.

Or, by all rights, we should have won by 3-4 Touchdowns. We can argue this point all day long. Fact is, CU won, State didnt. Tigers also beat a team (Auburn) that just last night crushed a team that was a dark horse to win the mighty SEC West. Beat a darn good Troy team that has not lost before or since, and oh by the way, beat the flavor of the month LV team. I would go so far as to say our strength of record thus far is superior to most anyone except Ole Missus. I despise them, but fact is their schedule this year has been brutal. So, undefeated? Check. Win big/Win tight=win? Check. Do we need to keep taking care of business any way possible? Check. FSU... Your next!

Do Clemson and Bama have "mulligans"? All I hear is how OSU is still alive, which I agree. If we lose to FSU (I think we'll cruise actually) and run the table, we still have to be in the final 4 correct?
1. Road win at Auburn
2 Head to head v. Louisville
3. Conference champ
We all know Bama has a mulligan, so honestly I'd prefer they win out

last night, she said that committee members may favor Louisville over Clemson, since Louisville did what we failed to o to NCST. She was making the case for Louisville now, not predicated on a Clemson loss later on.
