I heard an interview with Geoff Collins, the new FB coach at GTECH. He sounds impressive. His recruiting class wasn't all that bad. I think 247 had them at 51st?

I wonder if he'll move away from the option HS game?

It's going to be a long year for the Jackets and maybe 2 seasons before he can turn them around in a positive direction. Maybe he can siphon some recruits from the mutts.

but his message to fans upon being hired was that he would not run the flexbone, but instead would bring in a new offense that makes use of Tech’s current skill talent.

He's bringing Dave Patenaude with him from Temple as offensive coordinator so you can expect to see them ran a HUNH spread type offense.

He's also ditching the old Russell Athletic uniforms for Adidas.

He will not run the Paul Johnson option.

That being said, almost every team runs some sort of option in their offense.

Clemson runs tons of run-pass option plays.

It will be a lot different. More in the days of O'Leary. Remember, they owned us for a long time before we started beating them with Dabo. We need them to get good again, it will make the rivalry better. GT will be a good program again, just watch.
