every time I want to feel bad for them I think of them stiffing Clemson a few years ago. Then I don't feel bad for them at all

Same here. Nice to see another ACC team have some big success, but definitely not liking their constant whining about the conference and playoff snub.

This is such a bad take because you don't realize that their fate in this conference is essentially our fate. Everyone saying this is an isolated FSU problem isn't seeing the big picture. If Clemson would've somehow won the 4 games we lost by a small margin and played the ACC championship game against Louisville the same way we played the coot game (all defense no offense) we would've been left out of the college football playoff, even with a healthy Cade.

For some reason, people just don't think about the implications of a situation surrounding them until it actually bites them in the ### and I for one don't want to sit around in this conference waiting for the day it happens to us

Clemson’s fate was to make the playoffs 6 straight years, sometimes even with bad losses to teams like Cuse and Pitt. I would not be happy if I were an FSU fan, I’ll grant you that. But I would hope in the clear light of day I would understand that they weren’t one of the 4 best teams in the country this year.

The other important part is what conference really wants Clemson. Wishful thinking says SEC or Big 10.

I think we would have been #3 had we been undefeated with a healthy QB. FSU depended on Travis and really was not in the same league of our teams from 2015-2020. The 2017 team with Kelly Bryant would have boatraced the 2023 FSU team. They are a bunch of whiners and I hope we do not follow them in any way. They will be back to also-rans as soon as this portal-NIL stuff plays its way out.
