When he was at Charleston, he let what Monte had built crumble within 18 months.
He took over a Super Regional team returning all 3 weekend starters. One of them quit before September because he hated Heath.
His teams went 31-26 and 28-31 after Monte's teams stayed in the top 40 consistently for half a decade.
Horrible guy, horrible coach. I posted several times that hiring Heath would be the end of Monte at Clemson.

Horrific treatment of the children. He deserves considerable jail time. Hard to believe Lee hired him after what happened at CofC.

Deplorable. Makes me question the due diligence of the hiring process with Clemson and UT Martin. This guy obviously has a known reputation, lawsuits with former employers, and wasn't that great of a coach. What even makes him a desirable college coaching hire? Sounds like he isn't even fit to lead a little league team.

Bill - there is no excuse for this type of behavior. We need to stop providing excuses for people who don’t understand the concept of personal responsibility. If not, the behavior just continues and spreads because people accept and excuse it.

Unbelievable he only was give. A 10k bond. Completely unacceptable. People get a burglary charged where no one is home or harmed and get their bonds denied. This guy is accused of physically and mentally abusing a child. Absolutely ridiculous.

Don't worry. Scum like this will end up in trouble again and when the other inmates find out what he's in for, or what he's been charged with in the past, he'll get his.
Folks in jail aren't perfect saints or they wouldn't be in jail, but I tell you that the general populace won't stand for child abuse.

All of this blame and it was found to be not true. He didn't even have the kids and just going through a messy divorce, but to many perfect Christian people on this board. Sheesh
